Former reporter, editor and corporate communications executive Doug Miller is a writer of long-form fiction, short stories, literary humor and humor columns. He began his career as a newspaper reporter, covering everything from local and statewide politics to business and entertainment, dabbling in editorial writing along the way. He’s written and published four books – Girl Scouts, a novel; Secret Shorts, Short Stories and Collected Humor; Cherry Farcical, A Ridiculously Unrealistic Attempt at Resurrecting American Literary Humor; and Jack Pipe, Plumber and Personal Counselor. Miller also has originated five humor columns for newspapers and the internet and is a Rod Serling Foundation short story award winner.
